Clickworker Review: Legit Micro Jobs or Waste of Time?

Clickworker is promising freelancers the chance to be financially independent by matching them with micro jobs and paid tasks.

The platform has a website and mobile apps on both the Play Store and App store, so users can sign up via any of the three options.

Having used freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, and PPH, I'm quite curious about how Clickworker works, and if it's really a legitimate site with legitimate jobs that pay.

So, I'm going to be signing up on the site as a freelancer and try to get jobs. This could be another avenue to make some side income, or it could be just another waste of time.

Let's get right into it.

How Does Clickworker Work?

Ok, at first, I had to sign up via their website on my mobile phone. The sign up process was quite easy.

All I needed was my email address, phone number, and some personal details. Nothing much.

After verifying my email address, I was prompted or rather forced to download the mobile app and login there.

The prompt reads “Please confirm your login using the clickworker app”

So, I had to head to the Play store to download the app and login.

Is Clickworker Real or Fake?

The platform looks real so far. The app was available on Play store and I was able to login successfully.

I was prompted to provide access to my location so that Clickworker can offer me jobs available in my area.

After that, I was forced to provide my payment and tax details so that Clickworker can pay me whatever I earn on the app.

I think this step is compulsory because I couldn't proceed on the app without completing this step.

After struggling a bit, I was able to maneuver this step, and had access to the app.

I just had to confirm my login on the web via the app.

How Can You Get Started With Clickworker?

Getting started on Clickworker is quite straightforward. After signing up on the app, you have to first go through the onboarding and provide more details about yourself.

In the onboarding, you'll also be taken through a few trainings and tutorials on how to complete some common tasks on the app.

These tutorials are actually paid but the earnings are a negligible one cent ($0.01). This might be a tiny earning, but it helps to build trust with the user that Clickworker can actually pay for tasks completed.

I had to take and complete the orientation tutorial which was a 2-minutes long video.

The only thing I learned from the orientation video is that duplicate accounts are not allowed on Clickworker, and will be closed if found.

How Can You Make Money With Clickworker?

The first step to making money with Clickworker is to provide a robust profile. Jobs are matched to you based on the skills, language, and location provided on your profile.

So, you have to a provide strong profile to be able to earn anything significant.

Clickworker also provides assessment to prequalify users for top jobs. One of such assessment is the UHRS assessment, which unlocks a new level for users to access more projects on the platform.

Once you have all these set up and in place, Clickworker will start sending you tasks and micro job offers that match your qualifications.

Earnings made on the platform can be withdrawn via PayPal or Payoneer, after reaching the $5 minimum withdrawal threshold.

How Much Can You Make With Clickworker?

How much you make on Clickworker depends on your profile, skills, location, and pre-qualification.

The truth is, location plays a huge role in the amount and quality of jobs you have access to on the Clickworker platform.

Most users located in tier one countries have disclosed that they have access to more high-paying tasks on Clickworker than their counterparts in other countries.

So, if you're not located in a tier one country, you have to make do with whatever tasks you are offered on Clickworker, as there isn't much you can do to change that.

Is Clickworker Legit or Scam?

In my experience, the platform works and it looks legit.

At least, the $0.01 earned via the onboarding tutorial is reflecting on my Clickworker profile.

So far, I've not spent any money on the platform or prompted to make any payments. So, there's no reason to suggest that Clickworker is a scam platform.

Positives About Clickworker

My first positive view of Clickworker is that the platform is easy to navigate. Moving from the web platform to the mobile app was as seamless as it could be.

The second positive about Clickworker is that they are able to demonstrate that they can pay users early enough in the onboarding process.

This helps to put users at ease and increase trust between users and the platform.

I also appreciate the fact that the minimum withdrawal threshold is kept at a very bearest minimum of $5, which encourages new users to stay active on the platform.

More so, I like the fact that Clickworker only offers tasks based on users’ profile. That means the onus is on users to provide sufficient details about their skills and qualifications to be able to receive more suitable tasks.

If you take the time to complete your profile and provide your skills and qualifications, then you'll be likely to get more rewarding jobs on Clickworker.

Negatives About Clickworker

So far, I've not had any negative experience with Clickworker. My only concern has been the lack of jobs in my job boards after signing up.

I guess that's because I'm yet to complete my profile or there are not enough tasks for my location.

Either way, time will tell as I continue to navigate the platform, complete assessments, and add more details about myself.

Should You Join Clickworker?

In my opinion, it's a no brainer.

If you're looking to earn a side income or just curious about making money online, then you should hop on to the Clickworker platform.

I'm actually curious about how much I can make via this platform. If I complete all the tasks offered to me on the platform, could I make at least $100 per month? Maybe more?

Well, I'll have to wait and see.
