I'm of the opinion that if anyone wants to quickly make money online, the best pathway is to learn an easy digital skill.

While having a digital skill is key, you want one that you can easily learn, easily sell, and easily deliver.

Everything does not have to be hard. You can take things easy and still make money online as quickly as possible.

I consider an easy digital skill as one that you can be learned or mastered under 3 days.

If you can't master a digital skill in 3 days or less, then it's too complicated for a beginner looking to quickly make money online.

Let's look at some easy digital skills you can learn:

WordPress installation:

Installing WordPress via Cpanel hosting and setting up the basic parts of a website.

Domain Name Generation:

Using creative research to find suitable domain names for websites.

Link building:

building links both internally and externally using the right keywords and silos.

Keyword Research:

Using Google keyword tool, SEMrush and other SEO tools to find keywords for different niches.

Data Entry:

Simple inputting and categorization of field data and other information.

Transcription:

Converting spoken words from audio and video sources to text via human input.

UI/UX Writing:

Providing content an explainers for apps and website features.

Proofreading & Editing:

Proofreading and editing online content using tools such as Grammerly.

You can learn any of these skills within 3 days and start selling them as services online to make money.

The good thing is that you can start DIY learning any of them right now by making a simple search on Google.

It's really up to you.

Learn to Sell Online

After learning a digital skill, you have to learn how to reach out to potential clients online.

In my experience, when it comes to selling online, your positioning is more important than your marketing.

No matter how good you are at digital marketing, if you're at the wrong place, you'll not be able to meet enough of the right clients to meet your sales obligations.

Here are the tools you need to start selling your services online as fast as possible:

The Right Trends

The quickest way I've ever made money online, as highlighted above, is via using the right trends.

Everyday, new online trends come and go, and a few savvy people ride those trends and make money.

You don't have to suffer in order to sell online. If you can find the right trends that fit the niche for your skills or service, then use the trends.

If you don't seem to find the right trends, just keep waiting. The right trends will come and you'll be able to capitalize on it.

The Right Platforms

To start selling your skills online and make money, you have to find and leverage the right platforms.

You have to ask yourself, where are my ideal clients most likely to be?

Find those platforms where people discuss topics in your niche, or where people buy complementary products.

For example, if you offer WordPress installation, then it makes sense to find clients in forums that discuss about hosting and servers.

If you can find the right platforms to sell your skills, you could have solved your online marketing dilemma by half.

The Right Offers

Now, this right here, is where many newbies fail.

I remember a case in point, when I started selling my skills online. I got a lead from Problogger jobs board who wanted me to deliver a web copy for a particular budding tech company.

We got talking via email, and everything was going smooth. However, I became overexcited and got carried away, then I made her a wrong offer.

Just right then, the deal was off.

It felt strange that just a few moments ago, I was discussing a deal that would pay me nothing less than $1,000 but then, that deal was no longer possible.

That feeling haunted me for a while, and I learned a lesson about keeping my emotions in check and making the right offers, no matter how I felt.

The right offer is one that can first cover your costs, is competitive, and does not scare your client away.

If you can find the right balance, then you will be able to close the deal almost every time.

Making money online shouldn't be as complicated as most of us have been taught.

Whether you are looking to make some quick bucks or build a long-term dynasty online, the rules are the same: find the skill or service you can easily offer and then offer it via the right platforms and trends.

If you offer it well and quickly enough, you can make crazy good money.

The problem is that most of us either complicate the process or do not want to put in the time to hone the right skills.

But it's not half as difficult as you think it is. Anyone can make money online from anywhere in the world, selling a very simple skill or service.
